Fan-Girling Sue Spargo
Are you a fan of Sue Spargo’s work? Have you always wanted to play with wool, learn new embroidery stitches, and laugh with fellow quilters? We are offering a space, time, and the support for you to create a Sue Spargo wallhanging using the book or pattern of your choice (Folk-Tails, Chickens, or Fresh Cut or a pattern). During these once-a-month, three hour sessions, you will have time to learn stitches, practice quilting, cut out, and create your Sue Spargo inspired piece. Participants are required to buy Creative Stitches (2nd edition) and either Folk-Tails, Fresh Cut, or a pattern. These books and patterns are available at Mainely Sewing.
Wools, threads, and needles will also be available for purchase right at the shop! There is no charge for the session as you are required to buy (or bring) your own supplies.
As you sign up, please make sure to give your email to Mainely-Sewing as I will be in contact prior to the first meeting. (questions? Please contact Jean Bragan at [email protected])
So excited to work together!
